Bodyism’s stylish CEO is one of those inspiring women who manages to juggle a demanding career, a young family, and an impressive fitness regime, all while looking effortlessly chic. Here she shares the daily rituals and wellness rules that help her stay healthy, happy and focused.
Classic, understated and feminine.
My home country, Sweden. I love the simplicity of Scandinavian style.
What it means to be a modern woman. I believe we really can have it all – we can be independent, confident, feisty and successful, while simultaneously being gentle, kind, maternal and feminine. In the past, female founders and CEOs have been stereotyped as bossy, aggressive or masculine but it’s 2019 and people are finally realising that this is a misconception. You can be whatever you want to be, whether it’s a career woman, a mother, or both.
1. Always aim for eight hours of good quality sleep. Lack of sleep can affect everything from your concentration levels to your mental health.
2. Find a workout you actually enjoy and stick with it. You’re so much more likely to exercise if you’re having fun at the same time.
3. Eat more plants. Most of your plate should be made up of loads of vegetables, beans and whole grains.
An oat flat white in the morning, and a cup of Bodyism Serenity before bed – it really helps me to relax and unwind after a stressful day.
La Mer SPF 50 UV Protecting Fluid, Global Super Oil by Wildsmith Skin, and Inika Organic Liquid Foundation – it’s a really light formulation that I can even wear when I’m working out.
“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you’re doing, you will be successful.”
